Melinda came to work at Avila Home Care with over 22 years of experience as a Global Process Analyst with Schneider Electric. Her expertise includes managing client relationships and translating business process efficiencies.
Melinda loves her role as Client Services Manager at Avila because she has the opportunity to learn the story of each client and their loved ones. “There is such a deep sense of purpose in my work- getting to know our new clients and suggesting Caregivers who not only meet their physical needs, but also their emotional needs.”
Melinda is so very impressed with Avila’s hiring process for Caregivers- Avila Founder Danny O’Brien takes the time to personally interview each Caregiver, ensuring those who are hired view this role as a calling, and not simply a job. When a potential client calls, Melinda takes time to listen to their whole story to ensure that a wonderful match is made with an experienced Avila Caregiver. Establishing an on-going and close relationship with every single Avila client “inspires me to want to make a profound difference in their lives by lightening their load.” Melinda also schedules client assessments with nurses, and regularly checks in with clients once they are matched with a Caregiver.
